Hours: Part-time contract
Compensation: $25/hr-$40/hr / DOE

We're looking for a capable and flexible Scrum Manager that can move from hands on to high-level. You're a builder and a leader; adept at digging through code, improving systems, managing development workflows (and developers) while meeting velocity goals that serve our project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Understand scope of project at specifications handoff, completely
Refine and define project scope into tasks that support an incremental and efficient Agile process
Determine and manage dev team capacity to meet sprint deadlines
Set up sprints, and help ensure that sprints tasks are at least 90% completed
Manage and set up dev team meetings when needed
Manage sprints and post update burndown progress at least twice a week... ideally more
Create high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
Identify and help remove impediments to the team’s progress
QA completed work to ensure delivery meets the project’s requirements
Manage all releases to production, until the end
Update release notes each release to production
Work with team to update testing coverage
Maintain a positive, communicative, and supportive culture for the dev teams
Keep the boards clean and supplement tracking by issuing initial sprint reports and final sprint reports
Increase velocity for the team as a whole, and help individual developers meet this goal
Balance avoiding team burnout with meeting critical client deadlines
Provide help desk support and client customer service when required during project’s closed and open beta phases
Requirements
Extremely strong organizational skills
Experience with web platforms design, configuration, and management
Experience with Git and Github
Leadership ability in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Must be familiar with software development
Strong knowledge of Scrum artifacts and techniques. These may include the Definition of Done, backlog refinement, user stories, and automated testing
Experience working with public sector and non-profit clients preferred
Knowledge of multiple web application frameworks and languages such as Drupal, WordPress, React, Gatsby, JavaScript, PHP, and TypeScript preferred
