Puget Sound Regional Council

The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) hired Parallel Public Works to completely overhaul their main public facing site.

PSRC’s old site was built on an antiquated CMS that was difficult to update and maintain. The site’s architecture was incredible difficult to navigate and had deteriorated over the years as siloed content managers were allowed to update the site without a clear guideline to follow. While extensive with over 15,000 documents and thousands of pages, the site no longer effectively communicated PSRC’s mission.

Parallel radically transformed PSRC’s site architecture and approach to data management.

Through discovery sessions, usability tests, persona and user story development, and in person workshops with over 20 PSRC stakeholders, we built the new psrc.org in Drupal and managed the migration of all site content.

With their new site in place, PSRC has greatly improved their service to the public as well as their internal business practices. Parallel continues to support PSRC with ongoing hosting and Drupal application maintenance and support.
